This was the Friday morning “Rush Hour” race for the Kentucky Derby Festival. We flew from Bowman Field and landed in New Albany, IN. There were 26 hound balloons chasing the U. S. Bank hare balloon. We were flying the Kosair Childrens Hospital balloon for the event. Nick Donner dropped his grass seed bag just 11″ from the center of the target to win the race.
